Privacy notice

This notice explains how Cortex Compass handles personal information when you read the site or write about a study booking on Solana decentralized finance basics. It is effective 1 September 2026.

Data controller

What we collect

The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, study option, an optional preferred date, an optional group size, and a message. Please leave account numbers, resident registration numbers, seed phrases, and wallet keys out of the message. Correspondence after that form, including bank-transfer references needed to match a fee, is kept in the room’s email.

The consent banner stores an Accept or Reject value in your browser’s localStorage under the key cortexcompass-cookie-consent. That value stays on your device. Server logs of the hosting company may record IP address and the page requested, as part of ordinary site operation.

Why we use it

Inquiry details are used to answer you, confirm a seat or a quote, and match a transfer to a booking. The legal bases relied on are steps toward a contract, and, for the consent record, your choice in the banner. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it to build an advertising profile.

Retention

Email correspondence about a booking is kept for 24 months after the last message in the thread, then deleted, unless a longer period is required for a payment dispute or a legal claim. The consent key remains in your browser until you clear site data for cortexcompass.click. Hosting logs follow the host’s ordinary rotation.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea you may request access, correction, deletion, or a suspension of processing, and you may withdraw consent for optional storage. Email hello@cortexcompass.click with the address you used on the form. We respond within the period the Act requires. You may also complain to the Personal Information Protection Commission.

International transfers

Inquiry email is read by staff in Korea. Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts. That request can send your IP address and browser details to Google, which may process them outside Korea, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. The transfer is a consequence of loading the typeface files. Blocking Google Fonts in your browser stops that request, and the pages still read in a fallback typeface. Children

Study bookings are for adults. We do not seek information from children.
